Glacier Drop Status in 2026
The original Glacier Drop targeted eligible self-custody holders of ADA, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, AVAX and BAT based on the June 11, 2025 snapshot. That original claim phase has closed. Midnight later launched NIGHT and moved claimed allocations into Redemption.
Already Claimed NIGHT? Use Redemption
Community allocations unlock gradually rather than all at once. Midnight’s launch guide defines four equal 25% installments across the thawing schedule. The 360-day thawing period ends on December 4, 2026, followed by a final 90-day grace period for remaining redemptions.
In July 2026 Midnight temporarily paused redemptions while assessing a wallet-related security incident, then reopened the Redemption portal after stating that its redemption infrastructure was not at risk.
Missed the Original Glacier Drop?
Lost-and-Found is the relevant phase for eligible users who met the original Glacier Drop criteria but did not make a Glacier Drop claim. Midnight currently describes roughly 252 million NIGHT as allocated to this phase. Eligibility still depends on the original snapshot and qualifying assets; missing the claim window does not create eligibility if the wallet was not eligible in the first place.

What Happened to Scavenger Mine?
Scavenger Mine has concluded. Midnight’s final launch allocation increased that phase to 1 billion NIGHT. Users with allocations from Glacier Drop or Scavenger Mine now follow the Redemption/thawing process rather than the old mining or claim instructions.
Wallets and Security
Do not rely on a 2025 wallet list when redeeming NIGHT in 2026. Wallet compatibility and redemption flows changed after the original claim period. Use Midnight’s current official Redemption interface and documentation, verify the domain before connecting a wallet, and never enter a seed phrase into a claim website.

If you already claimed during Glacier Drop or Scavenger Mine, check your current Redemption status and thaw schedule through Midnight’s official resources. If you missed Glacier Drop but were eligible at the original snapshot, check the current Lost-and-Found process. The old chain-specific 2025 instructions should be treated as historical only.
